A professional water treatment program designed to manage and direct the introduction of water treatment chemicals for the control of scale, algae, sludge, corrosion and biological fouling in the mechanical systems. These activities are designed to maximize system efficiency durability reliability and safety.
Tolin uses water treatment compounds and additives that are bio-degradable, non-toxic, non-chromate and non-acid. Tolin maintains its systems so that discharge effluent is chemically neutral, and shall meets all existing and anticipated pollution control standards. For open cooling tower systems, Tolin maintains the automatic monitoring system to provide continuous water analysis such as molybdate, Ph, and conductivity. Our equipment is programmed in real time parameters, to analyze the circulating water and automatically adjust the chemical feed rates and bleed intervals based on the level of total dissolved solids.
Tolin provides all necessary pre-filters, frame filters, bag filters, fan coil filters and aromatic roll-type filters necessary to reduce the contamination of the systems and assure the quality of air delivered to the property occupants. All filters are changed in accordance with the tasking parameter of the maintenance management system. Tolin's staff coordinates these activities so as not to interrupt the operation of property.
Non destructive testing that inspects the integrity of tube bundles, identifies potential failures like corrosion, cracking, structural stress, bulging of tubes as well as metal wear that may present future failure points. By identifying future failure points and making a proactive repair, the catastrophic effects of a deteriorating tube and by avoided. By employing Eddy Current Testing the risk of tube failure is manageable.
When a major failure occurs Tolin is often called upon to identify the cause of failure. One method Tolin uses in X-ray metallurgical analysis which identifies mode of attack in condenser and evaporator tubes such as pitting corrosion, fatigue and stress corrosion cracking.
A spectrochemical analysis test designed to identify and measure contaminants, changes in viscosity, acid indicators, solids, water contamination, wear metals, and additives present in the compressor oil. These tests are used to determine if the oil is suitable for further use and to reveal abnormal wear before a serious problem occurs.
Identifies water , corrosion products and changes in non volatile residues. this analysis will measure PPM of water, acids and oils to evaluate the serviceability of the systems refrigerant before serious damage can occur. This analysis is completed in accordance with the Clean Air of 1990 standards as well as all applicable EPA regulations.
Several measurements are taken to obtain information for vibration severity in accordance with ISO 2372 standards. Measurements are taken both radially and axially. The results are rated on a scale of good to unacceptable. This analysis predicts unexpected failures that can lead to loss of production or periods of system down time. Evaluation characteristics include bearing conditions, vibration sensitivity, RPM and temperature.
Inspections can detect excessive heat generation or cooling loss in both the mechanical and electrical systems. This test will analyze temperature variations to identify defective breakers, bus bars, wiring and overloaded equipment.
