Mechanically check for leaks, device operation, alignment, excessive vibration, clearances, pressure and thermal controls, bearings, and ejectors, condensate traps, and fluid levels on drain back system(s).
Inspect for leaks, drain flow, damaged or missing components, water passages, impellers for corrosion, wear, pitting, operating of discharge valves, packing, meters, sight glasses, fittings, drains and base plates.
Clean components to allow functions as designed, backflow preventer and surrounding area, exterior of pumps, units and piping, strainers, pilot valves, vents, traps and offices.
Test and calibrate check valve operation of backflow prevention, alignment of pumps, linkages, valves, sensing devices for output and proper ranges, and drain flows.
